After gaining their first win in the European Junior Rally Championship on Round 3 – The Azores, the team have suffered a luckless end to their 2015 title campaign with mechanical (Rd.4 Ypres), and technical (Rd.5 Estonia) related retirements making them lose out in the battle for this years’ championship. The young duo were still hungry to get back to their winning ways on Rd.6 the Barum Czech Rally, and set the early pace before a broken wheel and an accident put an end to a character building season in ERC Junior.
“We have shown fantastic pace this season and worked very well together in our first full season. I’m proud of the results we achieved earlier in the year especially delivering Peugeot UK our first ERC win in the Azores, which put us in a great championship fight with the Opel works team. Despite our lack of luck at the end of the season taking any chances of the title away from us, there are many positives to take from these experiences. We have improved so much and had the pace on every event this year no matter what the surface or what local competition we faced, always the fastest Peugeot apart from in the Baltics. I’m very motivated for the future!” – Chris Ingram
