Debutant Ingram in Second Position going into Final day

Thousands of spectators endured the typical Welsh rally conditions

21 year old Chris Ingram is lying in a magnificent second position on his Junior World Rally Championship debut and first time competing in a Turbo rally car (Citroen DS3 R3 Max), after Day 2 of Wales Rally GB.

This evening in the dark Chris has set his first JWRC fastest time on SS14 Dyfnant, in very tough conditions mixed with fog and standing water in the lines of the 20km gravel stage.

Chris Ingram Quote- “It’s going better than I ever imagined to be lying 2nd in JWRC!  I’m learning the car and driving carefully to be honest as many of the DS3s have crashed or had problems. I’ve never driven in such wet conditions so for my first time in the car it’s definitely not easy! But the team and Gabin are doing a sterling job so let’s bring it home and get this fantastic result.”
